Question Regarding Featured Talent Directories
Q: Could you tell me how you currently choose which talent gets displayed in a particular “featured talent directory”? It appears to be somewhat random but I would be interested to know if you have implemented a more sophisticated filtering method.
A: The Featured Talent Directory is a directory of male and female voice talent, organized in 16 categories linked from the homepage ( http://www.voices.com ) and the advanced search area ( http://www.voices.com/search.php )
DIRECTORY INCLUSION
The Featured Talent Directory is reserved for Preferred ( http://www.voices.com/voice-over-talents/preferred.htm ) and Premium ( http://www.voices.com/voice-over-talents/premium.htm ) members.
NUMBER OF DIRECTORY LISTINGS
Preferred members are provided with 5 listings with their memberships and Premium members are provided with all 16. Directory listings are a way of providing clients with a direct link to your Voices.com website based on recording category type.
ORDER OF LISTED TALENT
The order of the voice talent in each category of the directory is based upon the last renewal date. For example, those voice talent who have most recently renewed their membership with Voices.com will appear on the top of the list.
SELECTING DEMOS
To select demos to showcase in the Featured Talent Directory you will need to go to the Files area by clicking on the Profile tab in your account. http://www.voices.com/studio.php .
Decide which demos you want to Feature first and then click on the box beside the demo to select it and then click on Edit. From within the Edit screen you can select a category for the demo from the drop down list and then check the box to Feature this Demo. This will feature the demo in the category selected on the homepage.
CACHE
There may also be a delay of 24 hours before your demo and name appear in the selected category on the Voices.com homepage. This is because we cache the results on a daily basis.
CreateJob Discrepancies
Q: In the Web Services docs there is a “deadline” attribute listed in the Examples (section 8) but it is not listed within the enumerated attributes (section A1). Is “deadline” a valid attribute that should be sent within the CreateJob request? What is this a deadline for (i.e. auditions, completed audio, campaign start date etc …)?
A: The deadline field has been added… it was also called “start_date” but deadline makes more sense. This field is the last date upon which auditions will be accepted.
Using Surepay to Generate an Invoice
Q: We do not have the capability of doing EFT payments. We will require that payments are made from the client (Advertiser) to us based on an invoice generated by Voices.com system (a standard Producer). My plan is to use the Voices.com Surepay query to generate these invoices. Is this a feasible approach?

Audition Questions
Q: Do auditions typical contain finished audio or are these truly auditions that will be followed up by some other transaction?
A:
Q: If the audition does not contain finished audio then what is the process for obtaining the finished product?
A:
Q: Can I assume the client will have everything they need after calling “AcceptAudition”?
